ENT & Head-Neck Services at maithri was established in the year 2012 by Dr.Gautham Kulamarva. It is a well equipped, dedicated, and ethical, advanced ENT care facility made available for the region. The fundamental principle upon which the clinic was established was ‘Above All DO NO HARM”. To this end, every effort is continuously made to ensure the best possible diagnosis and the most uptodate treatment is practised for each and every patient walking through our doors.

Dr.Gautham Kulamarva, is a distinguished ENT surgeon who was a meritorious student all throughout his career. He secured his general merit free medical seat in the Karnataka state common entrance test in the prestigious Govt. run Karnatak Medical College, Hubli in the year 1990. He then went on to secure a general merit free seat again in the All India post graduate entrance examination to study Otorhinolaryngology from the prestigious Govt. run Seth G S Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai. During the course of MS examination, he cleared the DORL from the College of Physicians of Mumbai. He completed his masters in surgery in the field of otolaryngology and head neck surgery securing the highest marks from the University of Mumbai in the year 2000. His quest for knowledge took him further to the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital for the Sekhsaria fellowship in head and neck cancer surgery. His zeal to study even more led him to clear the PLAB exam of UK and started his stint in the UK. Over his stay of nearly 4 years in the UK, he cleared his speciality examination of DOHNS from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, London and MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. During this period, he also utilised his time in visiting various centres of excellence in different fields of ENT in an around the UK and Europe. His desire to serve his motherland with the knowledge he gained from across the globe made him come back to India and establish his own clinical establishment in his home town of Kasaragod in the year 2007.

Now continuing with his quest for excellence he along with his able partner Dr Kishore Krishna, who by himself is a distinguished ophthalmologist, established a state of the art polyclinic Maithri Speciality Clinic in Mangalore, in the year 2012. This is a purpose built polyclinic housing nearly 28 doctors with an international quality and ambience, in the heart of the medical hub of Mangalore.

In the ENT clinic he caters to comprehensive ENT care, all under one roof. There is facility to address all the subspecialties of ENT starting from Phonosurgery to balance disorder to audiology.All the advanced facilities required for arriving at a clinical diagnosis are available in the clinic.
